With limited funding and rising construction costs, agencies and organizations around the Country face many challenges of maintaining infrastructure assets with limited funding.  AMS was founded on the mission of helping agencies manage infrastructure assets cost-effectively through asset management.  Since our inception in 2006, this practice was not very common for above-ground assets and we found that data collection inventories were inconsistent, expensive, and at times not very safe.  AMS became a leader in advancing data collection by using state-of-the-art sensors such as lasers and high-definition cameras.  With our talented engineers we were able to innovate systems to improve the quality of our data.

With the rapid technology change in mobile mapping, AMS had acquired mobile mapping systems that aligned with our work-flow.  We partnered up with some of the best companies that manufacture surveying equipment and laser scanner technologies in the industry.  We are constantly innovating on our spare time and have developed AI technologies that have helped us with quality assurance and quality control.  Our AI systems help us inventory and assess assets.   We currently have an AI system that we use for making sure distress types and severities are being captured.

•    ArcView GIS Link to StreetSaver SQL Server using avenue scripts (2006)
•    ArcView GIS Link to StreetSaver SQL Server using visual basic (2007)
•    Created  our own Mobile StreetSaver tablets that synced with StreetSaver (2007)
•    Created our first how-to videos for AMS StreetSaver Academy (2012)
•    Implemented the first Google Immersive camera for feature extraction and quality assurance quality control (2013)
•   Worked with Velodyne and Point Grey to create our first mobile mapping system (2014)
•   Created .las file formats importable into feature extraction software for roadside asset management (2015)
•   Worked with StreetSaver to create StreetSaver Web API. AMS was the first consultant to successfully integrate by creating AddIn using ArcMap and push/pull data to StreetSaver WebAPI using Python (2020)
•   Created AMS Artificial Intelligence (AI) using AMS trained ASTM methods for Quality assurance quality control (2021)

•   Created Artificial Intelligence (AI) using AMS trained identification for pothole location and tracking.
•   Integrating Topcon Solutions with mobile mapping (2022)
•   Integrated True Solid State LiDar for pavement condition and IRI (2023)
•   Integrated High Definition (72mp/12K) 360 panoramic imagery for asset management, quality assurance/quality control and natural disasters (2024) 
•    Created mobile mapping and pavement tri-cycle (2024)
